A Miracle Detailing
2018 BMW 430i - A Miracle Detailing - Cquartz Professional
This vehicle came to in loaded with swirls and holograms.
For a low mileage vehicle, the condition of the paint was rough.
Hood/Before
Door and Fender: Left side/Door/After - Right side/Fender/Before
Door and Fender Corrected and Polished
Now on to the technical...
Machines:
My weapons of choice are the Rupes Mark II 21 Bigfoot 5"BP and iBrid Nano
Compounds/Polishes:
In this case, M101 in combination with Scholl`s S2 with Megs MF for correction.
Scholl`s S2/Megs M101 combo reduced the dusting and left a fairly decent finish.
Any remaining compound fogging easily cleared up with a quick Megs 210 polish.
In short, M101/Scholl`s S2 with Megs 5" microfiber cutting pads for correction.
For polishing, I followed the correction with Megs M210 with a 5" Rupes Yellow foam.
Wheels:
Iron-X, Iron-X snow soap, wheel brushes, and a Detailing Outlaws Buckanizer.
Tires:
Coated with OBSSSSD Matte Tire Dressing - for a nice, clean, dark, subtle look.
Engine Bay:
Cleaned with Multi-X APC followed with Sonus Trim and Motor Kote
This is a favorite of mine. No greasy shine. Just a factory fresh matte finish.
LSP:
Cleaned paint with Carpro Eraser and applied two thick coats of Cquartz Professional.
