2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS - A Miracle Detailing - CQuartz Professional

For those keeping track...IMHO every paint, pad & polish behaves different.
This vehicle...
Rupes 21 MKII 5" backing plate Megs M101 and Carpro 5" flash pad.
Rupes 21 MKII 5" backing plate Scholls S30 with Carpro gloss pad.
Originally I tried Megs M110 and Megs 5" Microfiber cutting discs.

Guess what happened?
The mf disc started turning red with a 225 micron thickness reading!
Yes, there is red color/tint in this clear coat. It sure makes you stop!!!
I switched to Carpro 5" flash pad with M101. Swirls are gone and no red.

A really thick PTG reading and red on the MF disc after only two passes!
Interestingly enough, when I lifted the hood the engine bay was an odd colored orange.
My guess is that the factory didn`t "red tint clear" the engine bay area.

Thank you. That`s very kind. IMHO It looked even better in person.

NOTE: I wouldn`t suggest using an MF disc on this red.
However, the Carpro Flash pad worked great on this paint.
It corrected the swirls and there was no red transfer on the pad.
