Client is going to keep this car for some time and wanted it ‘spiffed up’ a little. It was FULL of swirls, scratches, squirrels, holograms, hazing, and whatever other defect you can think of.

The ‘details’:

McKee’s37 iron remover.
Gary Dean shampoo.
Medium clay towel.
Adam’s APC.
Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner.
Adam’s wheel cleaner.
Adam’s rinse and coat.
Griot’s PFM to dry.
DeFelsko PTG.
Scangrip lighting.
Flex 3401.
Flex ‘pixie’.
Griot’s fast correcting cream.
Griot’s perfecting cream.
Optimum panel wipe.
Gtechniq crystal serum light.
Adam’s glass cleaner.
Metro vacuum.
McKee’s37 70/30 leather lotion.
303 interior wipes.

Thanks for looking!

Finally a non Porsche vehicle LOL .It looks damn nice Scott. How did you find that years black paint on the typical rock hard or on the normal soft black? My only dislike on the Benz these days is they just eat up tires. My C43 just went in with 14k miles. It will be 3rd set of tires on front and second on the back.Of course all this car is lacking is the ragtop

Thanks all!!!

Gearhead, Thank you, and I agree, brand new tails again!

Johny Utah, LOL, yep, it didn`t do it`s job! Hahaha

Thanks T, it was medium-hard paint. Not horrible, but not the easiest either. LOL, yep, not a P car this time around! Geez, that`s a load of tires you`ve been through, that`s borderline crazy!

Scott, this is an outstanding result! That`s a lot of real estate to cover... Black, one of my most favorite colors.....NOT.

T-man 143 beat me to the punch: What pad make and type do you use with Griot`s Fast Correcting Compound on medium-to-hard Mercedes-Benz Black clear coat-paint???v Just wondering if you do anything "special" for these M-B black clear coat-paint finishes.
Did not see a pic of the paint thickness on the DeFelsko PTG gauge. Not that it matters, BUT, have you ever run across a M-B with thin paint?? Just curious....
Did you use the 303 wipes on the leather? I do not think I can remember you ever mentioning 303 in many details you posted.

Great work on this German-made Diplomat`s Limousine. (Makes me (and the neighbors!) wonder which dignitary is paying a visit to your home from the photos of this car parked outside in your driveway)

You have arrived when black paint is 100% haze free. Great work done there.

Have you ever tried CarPro reflect for a final polish?

Thanks all!!!

re-tired, Thank you! I have not. Good stuff?

Jimmie, I know it`s not your fav color!

Lonnie: Lake Country Hyrbid power finish pads. Used the wool on some panels/spots, but mainly their grey, orange and finished with white.

303 only on the dash and center console areas. Leather surfaces got cleaned/conditioned. I took pics of the readings, guess I forgot to post them up. If I remember they were in the `4` range. Not that I recall have I ever seen one with thin readings.
