2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat - Minimal correction - CQuartz FINEST

Merlin

A Miracle Detailing
Brand new vehicle, minimal swirls, gloss enhancement “jewelling”...excellent exhaust note!
Although a new white vehicle, there were some minimal factory OEM or DISO swirl marks.
Lots of time spent "jewelling" the factory finish to increase the brightness, clarity & shine.

This inside right (headlight) is actually an air intake

The obligatory "Merlin" palm tree hood shot.

IMHO the brightness, clarity and gloss was kicked way up over factory.

Can you say White? In the bright sunlight I started going snowblind.

Gotta love the CP Reflect

This pic is just for fun.

If you're talking about the second step CP Reflect over the M205..yes there is a difference is clarity and shine.

If you're talking CQ FINEST...It is a requirement to apply (at least) two coats of CQuartz FINEST.
Usually, (if applied generously) I can do two coats of CF FINEST and have (just a little) left over.
Depending on the client, I may do three CQF paint coats & use Reload or Hydro2 on the wheels.
Also, depending on the vehicle, I may squeeze three paint coats out a bottle of CQuartz FINEST.
In this case, I did two coats of CQ FINEST on the paint and the inside and outside of the wheels.

Really nice job on the car. Are the yellow markers on the air dam factory ? Never saw them before?

Thank you.

Yes, I did CQuartz Dlux Plastic & Rubber Coating on all the trim (except the front spoiler)
I found that unusual. I told him that they are on with bolts (underneath) and I did not remove them.
He stated he would remove them and stop by to have the CQuartz Dlux Plastic & Rubber Coating applied when removed.

I kinda like em...

Very nice, waiting for the test drive write up. Great job.

Interesting you say that...there's a "detailer" local to me that always seems to have pics...
Pics of him in a customers car a Starbucks. Pics of him in a customers car at McDonald's etc.
For me that's a big No No! My longest ride in a customers car is turning it around to work on it.
Even then...there is a mandatory "walk around" before ever moving a customers vehicle.
That being said, this vehicle has a wonderful factory exhaust note that is totally awesome.

Super sweet car

Thanks...it came out sweet!

Very nice! How many sanding marks on that one? I counted 10 on the last one I did!

Oddly enough this one was pretty pristine. I even checked the paint with a Bluetooth magnifier connected to my iPad.
I actually think the paint was better and cleaner than the GM 2016 Racing Yellow Corvette I recently completed.

Outstanding job Merlin....

Thank you this vehicle flat out sparkled when it was done.

great job
are those rubber bumpers on the edge of his front chin spoiler? i've never seen that before

Thank you!

I believe they are temporary factory protectors.
They are bolted on from underneath.
The client is going to remove them.
