That looks a little familiar to me other than a little longer and darker. This is what I have been spending the last two days on, and still have one more to go for two coats of EXO.

Nice stuff !!!

Lots of real estate.

Bet you`re tired.

Thank you! That is nice of you to say.

Yes there was...a lot more real estate than anticipated.

In the end it turned out pretty sweet!

Burnt toast! Thanks for asking.

BTW - Did you check out my video?
I`m trying to get a little better at it.

The Escalade was almost 20 feet long and jet black. The glass had some kind of heavy water stains...
Polishing the glass alone for took over 10 hours before I could apply FlyBy Forte.
The stains looked like tiger stripes (possibly stained into the glass)
The client wanted FlyBy Forte applied...I soon learned why.
The glass was 1,000 times better but sadly not quite 100%.
My guess...In total, I had over 50 hours in the vehicle.

Vid is cool.

I gotta learn

I`m just starting to learn. All I have is an iPhone 6 for pics & video.

Tip #1 - Wear a black shirt when doing a video of a black vehicle.
Tip #2 - Wear a white shirt when doing a video of a white vehicle.

I used 1080p 50Mbps and 60 frames per second for smoother video.
The higher the resolution the larger the file. Does it buffer at 1080p?
I use AVS Video Editor. It`s a cheapie version of Adobe Premier Pro.
AVS Video Editor seems to do fine. Adobe Premier Pro is very complex.
I try to video smoothly & not to use the AVS software video stabilization.

Merlin, nice work, write up and video!

LOVE the palm tree hood reflection shot!

Thank you...That`s very kind
The paint came out clear and awesome IMHO. The tiger striped glass was a tough challenge.

Write Up
I try not to go into tiny ad nauseum details. I post the basics and address any questions.

Video
Trying to improve the video(s) is new for me. I feel like a newbie with a PC, M105 & 6.5" pads
I`m not trying to become a pro videographer. I`d like the shakes and the wobble to decrease.
IMHO 1080p is enough for social media streaming. The 60fps quality is smoother when walking.
Thing Learned: My silly little iPhone can video in 4K. Don`t move or breathe when using 4K.

All I wanted to do was walk around the vehicle...
It looks like I was doing the videos with 3 espressos and 5 Red Bulls in an earthquake.
It is interesting...as I look back on My YouTube channel <- (Shameless subscribe plug)

Yes, I did purchase a (MUCH improved over stock) iPhone FiLMiC Pro video app (about $10).
Here is my last shameless plug for PC AVS4YOU Good, cheap, easy to learn and easy to use.

palm tree hood reflection shot
Gotta have the Merlin shot! (even if the hood shot is covered in clouds that would not go away)

Thank you again...

Coatings are for quitters. Adams Buttery Wax once per week :rockon

The inside of the Escalade was full of cars seats, kids videos, toys etc.
Although this vehicle was "brand new" it had 4K on the ODO when I got it.
I thought when he drove away..."Sadly, this is the best this vehicle will ever be."
So no, it will be lucky if he hand washes the vehicle, much less wax once a week. (sigh)

And yes, in a way, when I coated my personal DD I miss the "Mr. Miyagi school of Detailing."
