Polish/Pads: Wool, Carpro Essence w/CP MF pad - Essence w/CP Gloss pad.
Last Step Product: Two thick coats of CQuartz FINEST!

Trunk - I told the client "The trunk lid is not a shelf."

This paint was trashed. "Swirl City!"...When done the client stated "It looks like it was coated in Black Lacquer!"

FYI - Sometimes paint corrects easily and other times it just laughs at you no matter what you throw at it.
This was a latter...All my "normal" machines, products and pads didn`t make a dent on the swirls and scratches.
I had to break out the Flex 3401 with a (dead sheep) wool pad for correction and follow that with mf and Essence.
On an odd side note: As hard as the paint was to correct...the Carpro short nap microfiber towels caused marring?
The regular orange BOA`s were not an issue.

Thank you...it was a swirled up, scratched up mess when I got it.
For a while I didn`t think I was going to be able to get a "show car" finish...
In the end, I feel I nailed it and he said that "I exceeded his expectations."
BTW - Did I mention I did Dr. Color Chip on it. It was "stone chip" city.
 
Excellent work, I wish I could get my Camaro looking like that. And I like the way the tires turned out, nice and clean looking without being overly shiny.

The top videos in this thread are better. I`m still learning that too.

I prefer the look of a clean tire instead of a "Glazed Doughnut".

It is so much more fun when products have a nice pleasant scent...Yes, it smells like white grapes.

Yes, it was stubborn "swirl city" but in the end the gloss and clarity turned out amazing.
I was very happy with the final results.

BTW - If you have a foam cannon, try the PB Super Slick & Foam - foaming Pre-Soak Shampoo
