Boy that is a nice looking car.Even better with your magic added.So the polishing bonnet is that something you bought or made ?Im doing a rag top SL 500 right now and own a couple rags.Hate all the covering DYI work.That looks so much faster and cleaner

It`s a plastic box-store drop cloth roll. Tape the windshield area and roll up the windows to lock the sides.
Cut width to fit. It`s quick. It`s cheap. I get a lot of rag tops out of one roll and it stops compound splatter.

Looking good! I am going to polish one these shortly, but am at a loss for how to polish the lower sills beneath the doors.. I feel I need a Rupes Ibrid ����`. What did you use on the exhaust tips? Thanks for the help!
