PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
Used 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque For Sale in Johnstown PA | VIN: SALVP2BG8DH753766

Had the privilage Saturday to take one out on a spin. You don`t see many in the area. The nearest dealer is about a hour away. I was a little curious about them. This one had 53k miles. First thing i noticed getting in, the interior was a 9.5 out of 10! detail wise. This was no dealer detail. The previous owner took care of this rover! Exterior was a 9 out of 10. The rover itself was quite impressive. Fit and finish was impecable. The drive was fantastic. Very responsive and fun to drive. LOVE THE COLOR. Glad i got a chance to drive one finally. First ROVER i ever drove. Better half was blown away by it. She really liked it. I thought i was OCD until i saw the shape of this one. My guess is this could not have been a DD?

Wow - beautiful SUV, PA Detailer !
They are beautiful vehicles - hard to beat..
This one ran over 19,000 miles a year - wow - who drives that much in a year ?
You are right - it was very well maintained inside --
Now, how was the maintenance taken care of ??
It should be due for a lot of things at almost 60 k

These vehicles - always beautiful to me too ...

I knew a lot of people in the Pacific Northwest that had one and they never had problems..
They are really great for the snow up there..
So is my Grand Cherokee Limited 4X4, but it will never be as nice as the Range Rover.. :)

Maybe it was the older models? I have heard they are a beast in the snow. I would also like to see a new DISCOVERY.

I have heard their reliabltily is in question? True?

While waiting on my vehicle to come out of service at the stealership, another patron asked me what other vehicles I owned. I said just this one, pointing to my RR. He chuckled and said, might want to buy something reliable if want a daily driver. Over the next 6 months of ownership, my RR was in and out of the shop 6 times. Lost my ass on it, but am SO glad I got out from under it.

1997 RR 4.6HSE is what I had - purchased old dealer stock in 2000

Read the carfax, it had a turbo replaced and a bunch of stuff you wouldn`t expect at 50K. Although I believe
the power plant is a Ford derivative I am sure it`s pricey to repair. I imagine it`s much nicer than a top of the line domestic SUV but the cost of ownership will likely be shocking.

Wow - I am still in awe of anyone driving 19 thousand miles a year... How do you do that???

No wonder it broke things, must have never stopped running those 3 years...
Did it have a yellow cab light thing on top of it?? :)

Well for sure, at that mileage a lot of things need to be inspected and all fluids including differentials, transfer case, transmission, etc., need to be drained, inspected and refilled... All front end parts might be getting old and needing replacing, etc...

If it were ever possible for it to be a Land Rover CPO and everything wrong, worn out, replaced, and it had an extra long extended warranty, then maybe it might be worth a shot..

You guys think 19k a year is a lot of miles? I drive 20k per year just driving back and forth to work every day!
