Repeat client contacted me as it was time to take care of his wife's car. Talk about pressure! Fortunately this was no minivan. Mom drives a 2013 Hyundai Genesis.

Started on the interior which wasn't too bad. Some recent snowstorms left sand on the roads / parking lots which finds its way into the car.

Also there was second hand pet hair. I define that as the dog never gets in the car, but sheds like crazy at home so all your things carry it and it gets in the car. I too suffer from second hand pet hair.

Good example here - the trunk. Obviously the dog isn't kept in the trunk. but there was some pet hair

I sent in the furzoff with the shop vac

Moved to the interior and took out some of the clients full time 'passengers' and placed them in my pad drying area for the day.

Driver's seat had blue jean transfer which is pretty common.

OPC at 10:1 with a horsehair brush (did a tape line as I expected a major improvement)

Finished cleaning everything inside and dressed interior with 303 Aero

Moved to the exterior for my 2 bucket wash, ironx, clay routine

After wash and decon I put on the LED lights and inspected the paint. A 1 step polish was planned and it was decision time. Surprisingly this paint was in very good condition. Also, the blue metallic paint hid whatever light swirls that were present pretty well. There was a handful of what I'll call scuffs that most would call scratches but I wasn't too worried about those

Grabbed the paint gauge and found thin readings all around. Most were 85-95 microns. So I didnt see the benefit of any real paint correction here.

Thought for a moment and given all of the above I though Klasse All in One would be a good choice. It would clean the paint really well, make the metallic pop, probably would knock down the scuffs, and it wouldn't remove any clear (non abrasive)

Griots polisher + LC CCS light green + Klasse AIO

I went right for one of the scuffs to see if I was right.

and I liked what I saw after only a few passes of KAIO

Got to work and found KAIO was cleaning a ton of stuff from what had seemed to be clean paint after wash & decon.

This is a clean pad

This is after the hood and front fenders (cleaning on the fly in between sections). Pad was changed after the photo

Ever get the feeling that you're being watched?

Some more scuffs on the roof that resisted clay

No match for Klasse AIO

Topped it off with a coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant which I let cure for almost an hour. While I waited I dressed trim with Ultima Trim & Tire guard and tires with PB Bold n Bright. Also megs spray wax on the wheels and door jambs.

BFWD curing

Buffed it off and took some final shots

Great save! Very informative detail and it even made me chuckle along the way. You have a great sense of humor and I'm sure it benefits you while detailing. Those 3 passengers are the best. I can't wait for part 2 to come out. :D

thanks. I try to be informative so others can learn along the way (I learned a lot around here and continue to do so). and lets be serious, I'm not curing cancer over here. So having some fun along the way is acceptable I think.

Great work! I didnt realize Klasse had that much cleaning power, is it comparably to DG 501?

not sure as I've never played with the Duragloss line. klasse definitely has some serious cleaning power. doesn't behave well in direct sunlight though.
