Hi everyone. We had another Audi S series today, this time it was a 2013 S4 in Ibis White and it was getting corrected, having the emblems changed, and getting a coat of Opti-Guard.
We started with the wheels and tires, which were brand new so we just used the car wash soap on the wheels, and some APC on the tires and wheel wells. Nothing too crazy there. We then washed the car with Meguiars Hyperwash, and after it was clean we noticed there was a lot of iron spots on the paint, so we applied some Car Pro IronX and let it dwell.
We let it dwell for a few minutes, aggitated it, and then pressure washed it off. After some careful inspection we determined this took car of all the contaminates on the paint, so we moved to the correction stage.
It was near impossible to see the swirls since the sun was not out when we started the detail. They were very very minor so we went over the vehicle with Menzerna 106fa on a green Uber pad on the Rupes. This took care of all the swirls, as well as a few random scratches that were on the roof.

The owner requested that we change out the fender emblems on this car, so before we corrected the fenders we worked on the emblems. We used a heat gun and some floss to remove the old emblems, and then cleaned the residue off with solvent. Before installing the new emblems we corrected the fender so any marring from the removal process would be corrected. We then used the supplied templates to line up the new emblems and install them. I think the new emblems flow much better with a this vehicle.

When we finished the correction the sun had made an appearance, so we took the car outside to inspect it and we were very happy with the results.
We gave it a quick wash to remove the little polishing dust, and then wiped the paint, wheels, trim, lights, and glass down with Car Pro Eraser to prepare the surfaces for the coating. We then applied Opti-Guard to everything but the tires.
We dressed the tires with Car Pro PERL, dressed the wheel wells with Meguiars Hyperwash, and dressed the engine bay with Sonus Tire and Trim Kote. Here is how the car turned out.
