Here it is, in the sun. Judging from this angle I immediately knew what I was in for. Car was overall in great shape, the owner is very finicky and nervous about aggressive compounds.
Wheels faces were clean but the inner barrel and calipers not so much.
Used Sonax and various bushes, boars head on the faces and calipers.
Engine was mainly dusty, so just a few quick wipes took care of that
I'm going to assume an engine like this burns a bit rich.
As always, when the owner thinks it's clean...
Hard water spots engulfed the rear cover.
Here is the condition under the Brinkmann swirl finder.
Test pass using 205 on a LC white pad.
I wasn't happy with that so I jumped right to 205 on a LC Tangerine using RUPES to go from this...
To this;
Inside, the leather was a little soiled, used Einszett Lederpledgeeggdeg.
Driver's seat;
Top portion cleaned (hopefully you can see it).
Finished up the paint with a LC black pad and Menzerna Micro Polish SF, 2 coats of BFWD topped with BF Midnight Sun Carnuba. I explained to him CQ and Opti-Coat 2.0 but the way he keeps his cars doesn't warrant it. The only reason it looked like this in the first place was the previous owner. Besides, he didn't get this far in life not managing his money.
