2010 Camaro SS

This 2010 has 8 years of neglect and abuse and has 93K on the clock.

First step on the paint was my PE14 and wool. From there it was my G21, Rupes Mille, Flex mini and Ibrid. Compound/polishes Cut+, FCC, Shine Supply Slick Back. For claying I used Feynlab Prime as lube.

On the vinyl I used the G21 with white boss pad and FCC followed by hyper polish with a yellow Rupes pad and Slick Back on a finishing pad.

It was topped with SPS base coat and top coat (finally a definite release date, January 1st)

I didn`t take any close ups of the brake calipers when done. They were painted with G4 caliper paint and got black Chevrolet and Brembo decals. Used X-treme metal polish on the exhaust tips.

I`m not real good about taking pictures. The before shot and finished shots of the whole car won`t load. I guess the files are too big.

You were not kidding when you told me you had your work cut out for you.

It came out great. That red really pops.

WOW! What great work! A huge turn around. Looks fantastic and the pictures prove it!

Thank you. It`s hard to get pics that show the true condition of the paint, light and angles can hide a lot. I think the close straight on shots with good light aHD some reflection work about the best.

The pics of the Brembos almost brings tears to my eyes. Such expensive little pieces. Great work.

Thank you, the calipers were definitely some of the worst I`ve seen. A lot of people seem to want the calipers painted lately.

Looks good!

How did the Brembos look after?

Thank you. They looked great. Red with black Chevrolet and Brembo decals. I`ve never used the G2 caliper paint in cooler weather, it wasn`t cold but probably 20-25 degrees cooler than I`m used to. The was acting like the calipers weren`t cleaned good but they definitely were. I told him if he did have any problems with them I would paint them again.
