2010 Camaro SS waterspot removal and detail

Aside from 303, what can I use to dress the hoses? I was hoping some of you guys could recommend me to use my tire wet stuff since I can't get anything from the store until friday night ..........

Any water based PDMS dressing will work well on engine hoses (ex. 303, Zaino Z16, Eagle One Concours, Vinylex). I would not use any dressing that contains dimethal silicone, it will degrade the rubber over time. Most of the dressings that contain this type of silicone are the "ghetto" type dressings that leave the surface greasy and very glossy.:down

I usually use Vinylex or Eagle One's PDMS dressing as they are economically priced. And since they are water-based, any water in the engine compartment would help give the plastics a nice "satin" shine.

Oh, and today, I found an unused bottle of Meguiars Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Conditioner in the garage. I tried a bit of it on some hard plastics on the engine and exterior trim... it seemed to work pretty well.

It wasn't greasy at all...

I ended up using 303 because I had to leave work about 5 minutes after I posted this thread....

My air intake setup is huge and there's alot of pastic so I got to dress quite a bit but I'm not too happy that all my hoses are hidden and the other black plastic parts get really hot and the 303 fades out quickly.

There has got to be a way to make the bay look cleaner..... might have to break out the Klasse.

Got a message from a local forum member about his coworker needing his Camaro cleaned up. Had some waterspot issues he wanted sorted out. Upon inspection it was in relatively good shape with the exception of the front end hammered with waterspots. So I got to work!
