Hello all,
I've been lurking in these in the forums for quite a while and I have never gotten around to posting any of my work. I detail in my free time as a hobby.
I did not take any pictures of the car before I started, but it had it's fair share of marring and light scratches.
A little background on the car: This is one of less than 1,300 hardtop Solstices built. This one happens to be a turbo 5-speed, with Mysterious (Black) paint, Ebony leather, and just 1,800 miles. This car belongs to my boss. He purchased it last week and wanted to have the paint corrected. I quickly agreed to help. Ha
I started with a 3-bucket wash with dish soap and Chemical Guy's APC. After claying, re-washing, and drying (with air and a micro-fiber towel), I busted out my rotary and got to work. I used M205 with a Hex-Logic green pad followed up by a Hex-Logic black pad, and finally Meguiar's glaze with a Hex-Logic red pad. I finished with two coats of Chemical Guy's Butter Wet Wax.
The pictures speak for themselves.
Thanks for looking!
