I have a black obsidian 2009 Infiniti G37 and no matter what this damn paint doesn't want to accept any type of paint correction. It has the crappy Scratch Shield Paint. The paint is so soft that when you remove polishing or wax residue, it leaves behind marring. Just light touches scratches it.
But what doesn't make sense is that when it comes time to do a paint correction, the clear coat is hard as a rock!! I tried two combo's and it never even made a dent in the swirls! I first tried Meg's M205 on a white pad and that did nothing. I next stepped it up to Poorboy's SSR 2.5 cutting polish on a white pad and that did nothing for the swirls either. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using my PC 7424XP on speed 5 and working slow and steady with about 15-20 pounds of pressure applied.
