This is definitely up there with some of the most interesting things Ive detailed. I started detailing this customers personal vehicles and then moved onto his work trucks and now this monster!

He showed it to me, while i was detailing his work trucks and I was truly taken back. I told him that this was not a one day job nor probably a two. The plan was to Bring back the shine to the paint as well as polish all chrome and aluminum pieces.

This initial walk around, showed that there was a lot of oxidation all around. Which is excepted since this MONSTER sits outside all year round and goes from job site to job site.

So the gameplan started to take shape, lots of compounding with M105, followed by M205.
Here was our first pass with M205 on a Wool Cutting pad with the Makita.

We were very pleased with this, and the owner was even more excited about how it came up. We did this process to all of the red painted areas.

Heres a before and after shot of the front bumper!

Those are alot of work! I used to do a crane company's cranes some years ago. Lots of work & lots of compound. Is that his biggest crane? How many ton is it? I used to love doing them. Now i just like doing semi's. Please post the rest of your pix when your done. It is coming out great!
