2008 Infinity G37S Detail

This beautiful Infiniti G37S suffered from dealer detail syndrome! The client brought this brand new G37S to the dealer on a couple occasions where the dealer offered the dreaded "free detail" (you're really paying for it by how bad the usually hack the car up!). As is typical in these situations, there were several swirls and some deeper scratches that were obviously inflicted from poor washing and drying techniques.

I used Menzerna SIP / 106FF on this car. I've got to say... towards the end, I switched from 106ff to X3 and I have to say definitively, that I think X3 cuts faster and finishes as good as 106ff. I was already on my last panel but I regretted that I didn't use it the whole time.

Thanks!

Looks great - I love the wheels. Is that your own sealant that you applies as the LSP?

Yes... I've been working on it for a while. I have been testing it on several cars but this is the first time I've used it on a customers car. I've been getting really good results with it. But I'll talk more about it when it is ready.

How come I edited the title of my original post but it doesn't change it? [Yes I know... I spelled Infinti wrong...]

Yep, blame the dealership. Cars are 100% perfect when they leave the factory... :bigups

Regardless, it looks great now! I like when a black car is so shiny it looks like it's made of chrome!

I gotta say the fit and finish surprised me. In a good way. I haven't dealt with Infiniti much in the latter part of this decade and these cars are really well thought out. The guy did have a problem getting the rear trunk to close but that was probably a dealer issue since the rear spoiler was dealer installed.

Fit/Finish was easily on par with my M3, but naturally a lot cleaner/newer! Raised the bar for how I maintain my own car!
