2008 Ford Focus SES

Hey there, let me just tell you I love Chevrolet.... I like thier trucks, thier vans, thier cars, sports car and everything else.

The thing that I like so much about your truck is your interior is almost the same as the new ones while at the same time you have the better looking body and the Z package just tops everything off.

You already know we like your paint :)

thanks, i appreciate the nice words.

thanks joed, i love my truck. i've had many truck over the years and none of them even come close to this one in my opinion. i really like the older body style too. the new bodies are nice but there i just something about the old ones that i like. i'll get a few shots of the intereior and post them also. it has leather, power seats, power windows, keyless entry and all the good stuff.

Actually Don, Tim put some of the 4 Star Platinum products on his truck to test durability. He used thier Ultimate Paint Protection I believe. I am very interested to hear his findings.

60 degrees? It was in the single digits here a couple of days ago and I had moved my Vette outside the garage for a couple hours to pull the door panels off my son's car. When I got in the Vette to pull it back into the garage I noticed I had missed buffing a bit of polish on the driver's rear quarter. I pulled in the garage and immediately grabbed my Z-6 QD and spritzed the panel and hit it with the towel....which immediately froze to the panel. Doh! Patience was never one of my virtues I guess. 60 degrees? I'd be out in the drive in my speedo. Neighbors would be dialing the police. At 6ft and 265 I have to buy my swimwear at the men's High & Wide store! Funny thing is, most people don't realize I'm that tall.....

hey dan, i was looking at a height for your weight scale the other day. i apparently should be 7'6" tall, lol. i'm 6'1" shall we say 250ish + speedos = :scared

can't talk too much about my products of choice for my detail this week but sl is correct about the platinum.

snake, you sound like you might be interested in my latest project. I've almost perfected a conversion kit to change my treadmill into a remote controlled buffet line with forward/reverse to keep the snacks handy during the game or movie. I wouldn't have to resort to such things if my kids weren't too lazy to fetch. Well, gotta go clean the fridge, one of the Slimfast cans rusted through.;)

hey dan, patent that treadmill idea. slimfast???? what's that?

hey dustin, thanks. how's thing going? did you get a chance to do any detailing while the weather was nice?

Tim: It's going great. Got a new job and have to work 10hrs a day and about 50hrs a week so I've not had a chance to detail much. However I'm off tommorow and I'm going to try to get a coat of wax on the PT. Take care!

Dustin

Where do you find a height/weight scale?? I'm a decent-sized guy but I'm about 50lbs too light to be running with you guys! Speedos are not for me either. :bow

cvcaelen hang in there, it'll stop raing and you'll zeeeiing away in no time. it is going to be in the 60s here all week but rainy also. it won't be long though...

hey dave when i was just a young buck like yourself i weighed about 165 pounds. i was lean and mean, lol... i will say that i never wore speedos, even when i could of.

dusitn, congratulations on the job. of course to quote a line from raising arizona "your young, you have your health, what do you want a job for" or something like that, hehehe

I had hoped this was to be my first Microfiber DA System project. Alas, it was not to be... the product still has not arrived. The vehicle belongs to a co-worker of my wife. The young lady is a full time student having just finished her law degree and working on specialized degree in financial law. While attending college full time she also works in a law office part time and is a nanny part time. Needless to say the car has a lifetime of swirl tunnel maintenace if any at all. The detail was an engagement gift to the owner.

I had to fight the weather on this one as well as her busy schedule. The before shots were taken while experiencing a cool, damp, and very foggy morning. So my apologies on the washed out looking Befores. Had to rock only had the car until mid afternoon.

No Cabin Air Filter here... complained of musky and funky smell. An option that I installed for her after cleaning the rotting leaves and pine needles from under this cover.
