2008 BMW 550i Jet Black

Overall a very clean car. Odometer read 1029 and the owner had contacted me about having the vehicle done right. The hood has some light buffer trails on it from the dealer, that and the light swirling from the dealership washers :hairpull Hope you guys enjoy, comments and criticism as always :up



Exterior:

1. Rinsed down the wheels

2. Sprayed down the wheels with Megs Wheel Brightener cut 4:1

3. Wheels cleaned by hand

4. Rinsed down the wheels

5. Filled the bucket with water (one rinse one suds) (2 bucket method)

6. Filled the foam gun and soaked the car (let lather for 5-7 min)

7. Shmitt was used for the wash

8. Thoroughly rinse

9. Clay using Sonus green - and Prima "Slick" detail spray

10. Menzerna SIP @ 1500-1600 orange LC pad.

11. Menzerna 106ff @ 1400 white LC pad.

12. Thoroughly rinse to remove oils

13. Zaino z2, z5, zfx all x2

13. Headlights and tails were polished using ZAIO

14. Exhaust tips were cleaned and polished with ZAIO



Interior:

1. Wiped down the door jambs with Prima "Slick" detail spray

2. Vacuumed the entire interior

3. Wiped down the interior using a MF towel and Z9. Z10 on the seats

4. Wiped down the dash with a MF towel

5. Glass got Stoners IG



Engine not touched at this time.

I think the 550 is the best looking model in the E60 lineup. More so than the M5 since it doesn't have the fender vents and freaky rear bumper w/ quad exhausts complicating things.



Very, very nice looking car.
 
I have the same car in space grey. I can't even imagine trying to keep a black one looking clean. Jet black is BMW's most difficult color to keep looking fresh.
