2007 Mini Cooper large rear plastic (Lexan?) roof piece has become discolored over time. The car has been well taken care of, but this rear roof piece really needs attention.
The problem is that I do not know how to restore it.
I have thought about using my 3" Griot orbital polisher and attaching sandpaper and working on the piece just like restoring cloudy headlights and then coating with clear coat.
Any ideas are much appreciated. I would really like it to look good again. It would make my daughter happy as well!
