nice job, but 2 questions... on the benz, why did u use the zaino pc, then follow up with a rotary? and on the tahoe, why do the windows look like that in the after pics?

When I went over the Mercedes, usually ZPC cleans up a few of the minor imperfections...this time I did not work it in enough and it left a tiny bit of micromarring...so I cleaned it up after with the rotary just fine.

On the Tahoe, the owner needed the car back rather quickly so I took pictures after I pressure washed it (hence the car not dry - that is why they look like that)

that's what i figured... but do you think if you used a finishing pad with the zaino pc. that it would have been able to remove the micro marring? I was under the impression the zaino pc, is not that agressive at all. The mercedes had somewhat hard clear correct?

I started the car with the PC (Speed 6) using the Z-PC. I buffed until it was not seen and then wiped off. It looked great when the sun popped out. I went over the whole car like this, and noticed a few areas on the Hood that had micromarring (tried to work it out using the LC white and it was a no go). For me, the Z-PC has worked very well with the LC white/orange pads @ 6 and worked until invisible. I have used it on many cars and have had great results with all!

I believe Z-PC is a water-based polish. With the rotary, 106FF seems to finish cleaner, but via PC, they are pretty much equal. Z-PC makes it brighter and 106 deeper, also I have not had luck using LC CCS pads with Z-PC. I only use LC flat pads with the Z-PC - and it has made a WORLD of difference...

Awesome looking blue on that C230. I have yet to see one like that. Around here they're always white, red, gray, or black.
