2006 Subaru WRX Wagon

First up, a 2006 WRX Wagon. The owner Ken (WRXBrakes) has not had the time to devote an entire day to cleaning his wagon while running his business and busting his butt all the time. Ken has helped me on numerous occasions so I decided it was time to return the favor. I knew the kind of shape the car was in, so I knew exactly what needed to be done.

Dog hair, baked on brake dust, rubber marks...to only mention a few of the things that have collected since Ken last cleaned the car. I arrived at Ken's house around 10:45am to begin the detail. To my surprise Ken's wife needed the vehicle to run a few errands before starting, we did not argue ;) After returning shortly the detail began...

I do not have any before photos which is unfortunate because the transformation this car made was speechless. This is what was done...

Looks great!

Do you usually go Z2 then Z5? I think most who usually use both go 5 then 2. Can't argue with the results.

I don't get it. Using something with zero correcting- and minor concealing abilities to "polish" something? I'd call it sealing it a layer of Z5/Z2Pro.

Z-5 Pro is not at all a polish. It is a pure sealant with no cleaning/abrasive properties at all. Vehicle looks great, regardless.

You'd be stunned at how bad some of the cars I have detailed that have been less than a year old.

Excellent job on the WRX, the paint looks very deep! Great night shots too. :goodjob

You made that blue just jump off the sheetmetal, a very nice job!

Can I ask what camera you are using? Your pictures came out amazing. I'm assuming you're taking advantage of a tripod?
