The finish has 3 layers of Meguair's NXT topped with 3 layers of S-100 Carnauba paste wax applied over a three day period. I got the car on Monday, May 1st and took a vacation night from the firehouse to start the process. Tuesday and Wednesday it rained heavily, so I kept the 'Stang in the garage and used my son's 'Stang ( the 2001 listed in "the stable") to get around in.
The car has been been gone over with the Cali Car Duster and Meguiar's Final inspection daily. It saw rain for the first time since I got it while I was working an overtime detail at the firehouse on Tuesday. It's supposed to be raining all week :grrr so I'll have to wait until next Tuesday to detail her again!
