This car was purchased in June. It has just over 7000 miles and I don't think it has been washed more than a few times since it was purchased. Little washing resulted in few swirls, but to make up for lack of swirls were deep scratches and sap on everything! It was on the fabric top, paint, glass, even the interior! The deep scratch near the gas filler flap was wetsanded with Megs 3000 unigrit it helped make it less noticeable but it didn't perform a miracle so no pics of that. I removed the sap from the paint but it had already etched in. When I see it in the spring I might try wetsanding the marks.

Process

Denatured alcohol for sap spots on the top along with 303 fabric cleaner and Megs versa interior brush, rinsed well. Cleaned the top but didn't touch the sap spots.

Stoners tarminator and denatured alcohol on paint and glass.

Nxt wash

More denatured alcohol on top and plastic razor and tee-shirt to agitate. This finally started to make some progress and I removed the sap spots 99%.

Wheels - Megs WB and Power puff brush for insides. Then soap and water with megs spoke brush and MF. Sealed with Wheel wax after pics.

Tires/fenders - EO A2Z, protected with Megs Tech Protectant

Claymagic clay/lube

EC/OP via orange @1500-1900

OP via white @1100-1200

FMJ x2

Top protected with 303 Fabric Protectant

Exterior glass - Aquapel

Exterior trim - FK1-108

Interior No pics since it wasn't a real job.

Customer didn't want an interior but I did a quickie anyways because I was driving the car and it was nasty. I couldn't stand it.

Vac

Wipe down/scrub with MF and water:woolite

Protect with 303

Glass - IG

Nice turn out. Wish I could have stayed to see you wetsand.

Thanks Mark. You're welcome to come by anytime I'm working to watch, learn, and participate :waxing:

I will eventually be filling in my rock chips and wetsanding them. That will probably wait until the spring time so I have warmer weather.

Having owned a British Racing Green colored Mini Cooper before, I can truly appreciate the pics. They're awesome. I love that color soo soo sooo much.

The clear looks an inch thick. Lot's of flake too. I'll take swirl removal ANY day over sap removal.

Take a bow bro. Good work.
