Here is a very good friend of the soft cloth car wash; a lovely 2006 750i. I started this on Saturday at roughly 11am, and finished Sunday at around 3pm. I spent a ton of time on this car making multiple passes with products to get correction done. Process as follows:

Pretreat with citrus degreaser

Wheel wells and rims cleaned with APC 20:1...with a tooth brush for 2 hours (on the rims)

Wipers cleaned with APC

Washed with Megs GC

Clayed

OC with orange pad X2

OC + Megs #2 (80:20) orange pad

OP with white pad

Megs #7 with black/grey pad

Megs #26 with black/grey pad X2

Tires dressed with Eagle1 Tire shine

Interior had some salt stains which were removed. I love the feel of BMW carpets.

Anyways on to some pics.

Thanks for looking! Comments, criticisms, questions, etc are welcome!

p.s. sorry about the pics, I'm not sure why some are bigger than the others :s

Great work! Everything looks excellent!

I was looking for some before shots of the wheels. Does BMW still use those nice dusty/effective pads on the newer models?

it appears that they do. The before shots I took of the rims were the rear ones. The fronts were even worse...very similar to the common BMW rims we see caked up with brake dust.

Thanks for the comments!

Excellent turn around.

Yah, I was wondering about the brake dust too. BMW=brake dust galore :nervous:

Awesome turnaround. It almost looks like an entirely different vehicle between the before and afters. Absolutely gorgeous car too. That styling never gets boring.

Wow lookin' great! While those wheels must be a PITA to clean, I LOVE the look of them on that car. Good job making it even better than it should be.

Pretty major improvement! :up

BMW wheel designers should have to travel to the homes of anyone with those wheels every single week and clean them.

I am in love with the finish you were able to achieve there!!

How long did it take you on that big 7 Series???

I did it in portions of two days. Almost 20 hours. Including frequent breaks, taking phone calls, yada yada yada.
