This beauty is less then a month old. Built in Dec. It was special ordered, and is loaded. And this Lexus can park itself. The paint on this is called OBSIDIAN(Black) AND IT IS A SINGLE STAGE PAINT. Some have thought it was a tinted clear. NOPE . I talked with Lexus about this color, to make sure it was a S.S.

The models--IS, LS, GS, ES, SC all have the OBSIDIAN paint color option. so be carefull not to remove too much paint.

Process:

Wash with Optimum car wash

Clay(clay magic) paint was 98% free of contaminants

Tires received Zaino Z-16 Perfect Tire Gloss 1 coat

Paint received Pinnacle Souverän Paste Wax

Interior will be done at a later time

Enjoy

impressive indeed!

It's just a shame that after spending close to $100k dealers still think they can just go around advertising on their customer's cars! ridiculous

nice job on beautiful car! my dentist just got one and when she's parked, the side mirrors fold in, does that do that as well?

I can't believe anyone would pay that much and allow it.

Souveran looks great over that car. :)

I'm sure it does. He has had it 2 weeks, and hasn't tried the park itself mode yet. I'd like to see that.

Really impressive!

I watched a demo on TV at the Detriot Auto Show. It was pretty amazing.

The guy across the street from me just got one. Supposedly it can do regular parking as well, not just parallel.

Nice just job on the car! Looks great!

There is just something about Japanese cars I don't like, I cant put my finger on it.

Reliability maybe? Sorry...this comes from a disgruntled ex-SL55 owner.

Lexus has really raised the bar with the new LS. I hope the trend continues into the SC.

Good thing you chimed in, many people think if you buy a new Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, they are reliable cars, they are not. Hence the gift baskets from the various dealers at every holiday and birthday.

Kudos to a great finish! Even though I live in a moderate/easy winter climate, I just can't get myself to slap on Souveran on the car...hmmmm...something to consider this weekend
