2006 BMW 330ci. I've been taking care of this one since the owner bought it last December. She wisely refused Moritz BMW's sorry prep and called me. I've been using Werkstatt's Prime and Acrylic Jett on it ever since, with Optimum No Rinse washes every 4-6 weeks. She takes care of it in between washing it conventionally and going over it with Acrylic Glos that she ordered. Nice to see someone treating a car so well.
Anyway, somehow she got some water spotting on the hood and a few random light scratches and swirls, mostly on the hood and trunk lid. Nothing major, although the water spotting was a bit stubborn. I used Optimum Hyper Compound using orange Cyclo cutting pads on the hood and trunk lid. Definitely some hard paint, no hazing that I could see, looked LSP ready! I still followed with Optimum Polish using green Cyclo polishing pads. Once I got the hood and trunk lid in order, I went over the whole car using Optimum's new Poli-Seal using white Cyclo finishing pads and then finished with Acrylic Jett Trigger since she uses Acrylic Glos as her QD.
Just a little info on Poli-Seal, it acts almost like Prime on steroids. Very light swirl removal capability (maybe more with a more aggressive pad) and like Prime, it seems to disappear into the paint. Very, very slick upon removal. Almost looks like Prime does when you top it with Acrylic Jett, so adding AJT made it even deeper than if I had just used the Werkstatt twins. Poli-Seal/AJT seems to be a very deep, wet and slick combo. Hopefully it is as durable as if I had used the AJT over Prime.
