This detail came to me through a referral, after setting up a appointment to evaluate the vehicle and discuss the history (repaint, body repair) of the truck and the maintenance as for if it had been detailed in the past or any paint correction, which it had only been waxed 3 times in the past 10 years and never had a true professional detailing. But for as many miles on the odometer (147,000 miles) it really wasn't in terrible shape for a daily driven vehicle.
After evaluating the paint it had the typical swirl marks, some marring and water etchings, chips in the paint, faded out trim, the interior wasn't bad at all, actually well maintained.
So, after discussing several detailing packages the customer chose to go with my Premium Package Detail and CQuartz UK for the coating.... I wanted to achieve the maximum amount of gloss possible and this required a 3 stage polishing.
Here are some pictures as I walk you through the transformation and the process of this 2 day detail. Roughly about 26 hours . I detail allot of vehicles, but I don't recall or remember seeing a brighter Red than this paint !!
2 Bucket Wash with Grit Guards ( Megs Hyper Wash)
1 Bucket for Tires, Rims and Wheel Wells
Foam MTM Cannon (Chemical Guys Citrus Red)
Ricardo Clay... Medium

Nanolex Glass Sealant
Menzerna Polishes....FG400, PF2500,SF4500 ( Jeweling)

Flex 3401 ....PF2500 ( although I can finish down with a Rotary, still like to make sure the paint is almost perfect)
Trim ....Solution Finish....I love this product.

50/50 shot...Red is a hard color to capture with Halogen lamps..
Many, Many hours later .....Outcome of all that hard work pays Off !! Brightest Red I have seen in a long, long time. When the customer came to pick up the vehicle she was absolutely stunned, she said she had seen my work on Facebook but to she it in person she said ...."its truly amazing what I have done" .....she was very pleased, which pleases me more than money !!
