2005 Range Rover in the heat...

2005 Range Rover…



Sweltering hot day up here in NJ, and a tough day to detail a metallic blue Range Rover. Started the detail early to try to avoid the sweltering heat, but the paint on this truck still took me about 3.5 hours to level out and seal. I detailed this truck last in April of 06, and the exterior was showing the results of an life without the benefits of being garaged. This daily driver has never spent a night inside, and the top side of the clear was wearing some wounds.



The process…



Wash and clay

1st pass with Hi Temps HCL/ Optimum Polish 50/50.

2nd pass with 3M Finnesse –It III.

Sealed with Meg’s #21.

Topped with Mother Pure Carnabu paste wax.
