2005 Porsche Carrera GT Detail + CQuartz FINEST + Xpel - Presidential Detailing FL
We recently had the opportunity to work on this very beautiful 05 Porsche Carrera GT. The car had clear film applied when it was new and it was beginning to show its age, so we were brought on to restore the cars finish back to BETTER than new. After carefully pulling all the old film off and removing any remaining residue, the car was then corrected and polished to perfection. The entire front 1/3 of the car, front air channels and rocker panels were wrapped in Xpel Ultimate Paint Protection Film to ensure this Carrera GT stays in pristine condition. Once that was completed, we coated the entire car, including the film, with Cquartz Finest Ceramic Paint Coating for easier maintenance and to ensure the finish will be protected for years to come!
Pre-Inspection
If you look closely, you can see we were dealing with DA sanding marks on many parts of the car, which were probably left by the factory when the car was painted. These can be difficult to remove on their own, then throw in a full carbon body and you've added a whole new variable to the mix. Extreme care and caution must be taken while polishing carbon body panels to ensure you are not building up too much heat, otherwise irreversible damage can be caused to the paint finish.
Various machines, pads and polish combinations were used to determine the safest approach. We need to quickly cut away the defects while generating as little heat in the panel as possible.

After many hours of cautiously polishing every surface to perfection, the end result is much more depth and clarity to the paint finish. Even on silver, it was a night and day difference.
The tail lenses were also starting to show their age.
We carefully polished each tail lense to restore the depth and vibrance. Something as simple as this, goes a long way in the overall look of the vehicle.
