I worked on a 2004 BMW 325xi with a nice gray finish that I don't see too often.

Process -

Tires: EFHI 1:1 & No Touch to dress

Wheels: Detailer's Pride topped w/ Collinite Insulator

Trim: Meguiar's #38

Front & rear bumpers: PwC

Paint: 1z PP, VM, #16

Glass: VM

Great job!:xyxthumbs

I don't see too many BMWs in that shade, either. It is my favorite color on the new 3-series, though.

Looks great! :xyxthumbs

That's weird, that's probably the most popular color over here. I've seen a lot of the Silver Gray. It's a very nice color.

NIce detail, and I like the hat....even if they aren't playing so hot this year. A true Yankee fan represents with the game hat all year round. I've got mine on too.

Seth: Great looking detail!

Is that personal photo going on your homepage ;)?

Why the separate steps on the bumpers?

Thanks for the compliments fellas :)

Sean, I do a one step on the bumpers to save time and the PwC cleans, protects and shines in one step - leaves a great finish to the touch and a nice look. Nobody (non Autopians) EVER notices any difference between the 3 steps on the paint and the one step on the bumper :o

It's strictly a time factor thing. However, if the bumpers require further attention, I'll give it the time.

Nice job. Looks like minimal OP.

Do you know if it's titanium silver or silver gray?

Silver gray metallic. Yeah, this one had little OP.

There is a 2004 325i in titanium silver in the family as well that I detailed last week :p They're twins in the garage! That one has more OP.

The silver gray and the titanium silver are very close to the same color, as far as I can tell. Probably easier to discern with them sitting side-by-side.

I'm suprised that the #16 gave such nice results on a color that light. Does it make the metal flake pop?

I prefer sleeping in the nude...

LMAO! Just joking. Car looks very wicked. Made my dad want to buy one even more, thanks. :)
