I had the opportunity to detail Dan's (owner of MachV Motorsports) 2003 Lancer Evolution. He stopped by before we went to VIR this weekend. He actually ended up sliding off the track - uphill esses section before the oak tree Very unfortunate, but he made it out with some minor bruises so that was a great relief. The car had some swirls...nothing terrible...Anyway, here it is:

Did the car get damaged during the slide?? I'm asuming it must have got a little rough in the cockpit if the driver sustained brusing. Car looks really good....thats why I'm concerned.

The entire driver side of the car (bumper, headlight, doors, windows, rear bumper, tailight) were all badly smashed or damaged :down
