Very nice!! What's the GT all about?

I japan the G35 is know as the Nissan Skyline 350GT... They like to drag everything out... But not as bad as the British like with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR FQ-400... lol

Very nice job man!

Great work!

I never understand why people rebadge JDM. And that example isn't helping.

exactly. I mean, it might be that in japan, but unless it is right hand drive, it's not a skyline. A lot of people think that is tacky on the Z/G forums. Same thing goes for 350z owners who put Fairlady Z badges on their cars.

Actually it is technically a skyline. It's only called an Infiniti because Nissan wanted something that sounded "higher end" when in all reality...it's a skyline. Take the Toyota supra for example. Let's say that everywhere in the world it's sold, it's known as a Toyota supra. Now lets say just here in America Toyota decides to call it the Transpeed Rager. Hardcore enthusiast would know it's really a Toyota supra because that's what it's called all over the world so many would want to call it that because that what it really is and that's it's history, not the Transpeed Rager. It's the same with people that rebadge their infiniti's. The skyline obviously has a long and distinguished history with auto enthusiasts and just because Nissan decided they wanted to give it a fancy name here in the US, doesn't take away from the fact that it's still a skyline. Just because the steering wheel is on the other side in Japan, that means nothing. Are you going to tell people here that their BMW's or Mercedes are not really the models they think they are because the steering wheels happens to be on the other side in Europe? Also, most hc enthusiasts I know don't find it tacky to rebadge to skyline badging as long as you go all the way and not leave any Infiniti stuff on the car. See below...look familiar?

the fact that it's sold in the US under a certain name, it's a g35. That's like GTO with monaro stuff on it, acuras with honda badges, etc.

If that was the case, he needs to take off the infiniti badge and put a Nissan one on there. His seats will still have the infiniti logo. Infiniti doesn't exhist in japan and is just marketed differently in the states, that i know.

Yes it's a G35 here but everywhere else in the world it's a Nissan Skyline. That's how this car was first introduced to the world but they changed the name for the US so it sounded more "higher class" but it's still a Skyline. I agree about the rebadging, that's why I said if someone does rebadge, they need to go all the way and not leave anything Infiniti. The irony is there are lots of people in Japan that are taking off the skyline badging and putting Infiniti badging on. Kinda funny.

yeah, been to japan. The stuff that we call tacky down here is what they put on their cars over there. But then everyone here tries to put everything JDM on their car. Quite funny indeed.

Bottom line is people always want to stand out so if this car was in Japan it would be a G35, in the states its a skyline.
