First things first... I used Blue Coral Car Wash to wash the car. I dont know how great Blue Coral is, but we bought it a long time ago from Costco, and its has been a lifetime supply.

Yes, that is polish, wax, polish, and wax with a WaxMaster orbital buffer. Im not a professional detailer, just some guy that likes to make cars look their best.

Here are the pics:

Mainly the trunk.

These rims were so jacked up. Had to use a buffing wheel and some rouge to polish off the chipped parts.

After buffing it with rouge, I used some Teflon Wheel cleaner, and then some Eagle One Never Dull Metal polish. Tires were finished off with Meguiars Gold Class Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel.

A nice reflection at dusk. All pics taken with a Canon S70 on a tripod, images resized and resampled for downloading ease, nothing was doctored.

Looking forward to trying out some Nattys next time.

I cant believe no one else has complimented on your job....very nice. Those reflection shots are amazing, very wet looking. How did you apply your products...hand?, pc? rotary. nice work.

I cannot beleive that you got those kind of results with an orbital buffer! Damn man that looks sweet.

great shine man, i wonder if the results would have been the same if you had applied all the layers of polish first and then the layers of wax? I might have to try your method. NIce job

great job -- and speaking of job...I am sure you can start your own detailing business with those skills...if you ever did decide to detail for a living...or for a little extra $$$

I have found that people will definitely pay someone to make their car look that good!

car looks awesome. great choice of products. have fun buying/trying new products from the sponsers and searching for that "perfect shine"

Great work. If I decide to purchase a black car, I think I may have to send it over to you! That looks fantastic and your pictures capture it well.

The job looks great and I love the lines on the car....Would be great to see some sun pics......

Question why did you polish wax, then polish and wax again.....my feeling is that the second polish wiped out the wax....Just a question and did you see a wet shine with this process?

That's one of the best details that I've seen done with locally available products. As for alternating #26 and #7, #7 is a glaze. It has absolutely no cleaning properties, it merely adds to the depth of the color. It looks great, keep doing great work like this.
