First post here. Been lurking for a couple of months getting overall feel for the forums. I don't consider myself a newbie when it comes to detailing, but I am no pro either.

First up is my car. It's a 2001 Audi A4 1.8t. Color is "cactus green pearl". Great color on sunny days, almost turns black at night.

Menzerna IP + FP, followed by P21S GEPC (just experimenting) on a PC, finished with P21S wax.

Next is the 1987 Toyota Cressida. My uncle bought this for his daughter. The people that owned it before him rarely washed the car and when they did it was with a bath towel and dish detergent. It had never seen wax (or sealent), no polish or anything like that. It was in extremely poor shape. Heavily scratched and oxidized. Color is a blue pearl, but you would have been able to tell before.

What products did you use on the interior of the Toyota? Both cars look great!!!

Removed all the mats, vacuumed them with the Shop-Vac. Sprayed liberal amounts of 303 Carpet cleaner and spot remover. Scrubbed. Wasn't happy with the results, went back in with Oxy-Clean and a mixture of Woolite. Scrubbed. Waited about 5 minutes, rinsed with the hose. Eat mat rinsed brown for almost a minute each. Put them in the sun to dry.

Carpet and seats - Shop-Vac'd all the loose dirt out. Sprayed the 303 again. Scrubbed. The carpets needed a little help with some Oxy-clean/water, the seats were relatively ok. Vacuumed all the wet out with the Shop-Vac (filter removed).

Cleaned the dashboard and all the vinyl with P21S total auto wash (it was really grimey and nasty) then dressed everything with Megs NXT Tech Protection. I had to scrub the steering wheel with a toothbrush and Simple Green.

Hey guy, just to remind you that you aren't allowed pictures in your signature.

I'm not flamming, just I got in trouble for it when I first came to the site, and I learned from my mistake.

Wierd. Could have swore I saw people with pics in thier sigs. Ahh well, lesson learned.

Impressive work. The Audi looks great, I like all the mods except the rear lights aren't my taste. But hey it's your car so don't take it the wrong way.

Amazing job on the crusty old Toyota especially on the interior, looks almost like new.

Welcome, both cars look good. Noticed the grill on your Audi is black. Did you paint that, or did you buy an aftermarket grill? Considering doing the same to my car.

The grill is an OEM Rs4 grill. I scuffed the original chrome rings, painted them flat black. I also painted the trim around the grill body color to match (it comes silver).

how about the engine?

What are you asking here? What have I done to my engine in my car "go faster" wise?

This is what I have done so far: AWE K04 turbo kit, GIAC chip, Borla Exhaust.
