I did a full detail of my car 2 weeks ago, using HTHC and a yellow CCS pad, this reduced the swirls but didn't fully get rid of them, I had to go out to eat for my dads birthday! I haven't polished it out completely yet since then! When it got done the first time I finished it with OS and it looked "alright" just didn't pop like I wanted....so I got my sample of Ultima this past Saturday, and said to myself "self lets do the Ultima thing...." and on Sunday I polished the car with UPPP then did a coat of UPGP. I decided to go for the gusto and tonight I did a quick ONR wash and a second coat of UPGP. The camera was acting up (i swear my hands weren't shaking!) and some of the reflection shots look "weird".

this time I even included a full car shot! :)

See the "sheriff car in the background, thats the guy that just gave me a warning citation for being on a private lot after 8pm. I was like **** are you serious, more on that later...

I'll post daylight pictures tomorrow, hopefully they will be better, I dont know what was wrong with my camera....I still say its acting up and my hands weren't shaking!

The cop pulled up and I swear he looked like barney fife and he asked what I was doing on a private lot taking pictures of a Law Firm after they were closed and after 8pm at night. I told him I wasn't taking pictures of then law firm but of my car for a review of some new car care products and I showed him the Ultima Sample pack. I offered to detail his car while he wrote the warning citation and he didn't think it was funny. I have never gotten a warning "citation" before. And yes in the hood shot those are teddy bear cookies behind a 9mm glock, to which I almost got a ticket for that one. The guy is a total *****, he is the same guy that gave me 4 tickets for not having my head light bulb fixed after they burned out. He kept damn finding me and each time he saw my car with my "unique" lights as he put it, he would right me a ticket! Any hoot more to come tomorrow!

Bum Sheriff, he as your number so i would stay away from him. Also put your gun away, because you might one day end up in jail. Unless you got a permit to carry it like that.:up

he is truly a bum I have so far with this one guy 4 tickets and a warning, and it just plain sucks, here I am taking pictures of my car and my freakin camera wants to take shakey pictures (I swear it aint me this time)! And all 4 tickets were in the DAY TIME, I couldn't figure out why I would run them in the day time anyway but oh well, I dont like the guy, I hope Krispy Kreame goes under so his fat tale has to do some work except bother me!

I have a conceled weapons permit, I pack almost ever where I go. I have one in the car and 1 on me at all times. That one I had up on the seat so I would remember to take it out of the car and clean it tonight.

Lol...The Krispy Kream by my house is closed and all boarded up.

The hype is all gone, the business is falling.

With the blurry pictures like that, I'd be scared to walk near you with a concealed weapon.:doh

I vote for a tri-pod.:think2

lol, i swear its not me, its the camera! :) it does that at night on the night portrate mode. I will take some in the morning if I can remember before I got to work....

I honestly have never experienced any thing like the Ultima products in the sample kit. The slickness is unmatched IMHO. My father-in-law (a construction worker) said I had a nice looking car, then I told him to "cop a feel" (no pun intended) of the car and he said "damn thats slick, and it looks like the nicest silver car I've seen in a while" and I have to agree with him!

Looks slick - hard to evaluate the finish at night though. Did UPPP take out all the marring from HTHC and yellow? it seems like a middle step could really refine things, but I havent tried UPPP myself yet.

did really see any marring at all, however thats not to say its not there, I just can't see it on silver! :) I do know there are swirl marks on the trunk, just dont have time to get them out and you really can't see them until you look really hard! I promise I have pictures coming below soon....about 8am and they will be up

The reason you get shake is because your hands are shaking slighly (even if you can't notice them) and at night your camera increases the shutter speed to allow more light in. This allows for even the slightest (impercivable) shaking to become very noticable.

Great job from the looks of it though.

hmmm sweet! I didn't know thats why the shaking was so bad! thanks for the help there, I might have to invest in a tripod for my night shots. On to the glory shots in the daytime:

I can see myself

That is some serious fire power for auto detailing?? Maybe you are a security consultant though??

Great shots in the daytime, but wow, tough with a dirt driveway to keep anything looking remotely clean! Dirt FTL...

I work a part time night job in a not so well lit parking lot and I just want to have some protection going to the car and while in the car. I really want to do a concrete drive, but the land lord wont let me. its mostly dirt but some gravel and it makes for tough times during a drought when I pull in dirt clouds come out of no where and attack my car!

thanks for the compliments, and the help with the night shots, I didn't know thats what was causing the "shakey" pictures.... Ill put a 3rd coat of ultima on the car on wednesday (tomorrow) and hopefully it will look even better.
