Lake Country Wool Wheel Washing Mitt

Microfiber All Purpose & Wheel Detailing Towel, 16 x 24 inches

For me anyway. Been using the LC wool wheel wash mitt and the MF wheel towels for some time now. I love the mitt. I think there is less chance of scratching than using a wheel brush. And it gets all areas of the wheel. Never used a brush again. The towels are nothing special, but wow do they dry the wheels off of all water! 1 towel will do all 4 no problem. Just a great wheel drying towel.
 
PA DETAILER- Yeah, those little mitts are great for getting to the back sides of spokes/etc.

But don't you still need something to do the inner barrels and the deep recesses around lugs/valve stems? I need BHBs, Wheel Woolies, over-sized swabs, and sometimes regular swabs as well to get everything clean. My wheel bucket has a scad of different kinds of wash media in it.

Note that (good) BHBs are about as gentle as anything can get, not like most other brushes at all. Pass the CD-test easily...
 
I love both and use them religiously. I just picked up the wheel mitt and it seem to be much easier to get behind spokes etc than my grout sponge.

The mitt does the wheel face perfect. I have a mini daytona speed brush for the inner barrels. (Love this brush too!)
 
PA DETAILER- Guess my main reason for using the BHB on the faces is that it rinses clean easier than my mitts...not implying that there's anything wrong with the mitts as long as the wheel design doesn't require that "get into the crevices" thing that I need long bristles for (seems like a lot of my wheels are that way).

I know I'm in the minority, but I just don't like the Daytona/EZ style brush for the barrels...I do use it for tight spots on the undercarriage though.
