2 spots in paint how do I remove?

I have these 2 spots I assume are in my clear coat and I'm not sure what they are from and how I get rid of them. I'm starting to take an interest in detailing, I just picked up a 7424xp and supplies.

This one has recently (as far as I've noticed) just shown up on the rear fender

This one has been on my hood from before I bought the car and it has survived the dealers prep hack job which left buffer trails everywhere

Yup! Neither can be fixed with polishing, takes a trip to the bodyshop and some refinish work.

The first photo, that may be reduced optically but will not last, the second, it's toast.

Woke up early this morning before work and went out to the first spot. Wasn't ready to use the new PC just yet for a single spot



Washed the fender with ONR & clayed

M105 on orange CCS euro foam hand pad

m205 on white CCS euro foam hand pad

Poli-seal on red CCS euro foam hand pad



Spot #1 100% GONE! :bounce: Must have been an etched bird bomb.
