I'm new to this trend so don't laugh at me...OK

1. What is Clay Bar

2. Has any one ever used a glas cleaner by the name..Invisible Glass
by Stoner. A friend of mind used this cleaner and swears by it. I seen the work it did and I was amazed. It really lived up to its name..Invisible Glass

Invisible Glass, is got to be one of my favorites for windows. The only think I like better is to polish it, but i usally finish it up with some Invisible glass to make sure there nice and smudge free.

Yea clay, gets rid of the gritty feeling of your paint. even if you cant feel it, its most likely there.

Welcome to the site as other have said Stoners is the bomb for cleaning glass....clay will help you set your paint up for a good polish and wax job...Good luck reading and no question is out of hand
 
Glad you found DC. their are many products to read up on . Also a lot of products are used in acronyms and you can bookmark a list of them for future reference to help you understand more.

Invisible glass is one of my favorites as well.
You'll find lots of great info and great people here

no use it before the cleaner and polish...clay is used to remove surface contaminaition
(water spots, bugs, tar, old wax, etc)...claying basically just preps the paint before a LSP (last step product)

here are some basic steps for your exterior :
1.wash, don't dry (water can be used to help with claying)
2.clay with clay lube
3.remove clay lube and clay residue
4.polish
5.wax

i usually use a cleaner wax after i clay

First let me say Welcome to DC. There is a wealth of info here so do a search and you will find just about anything you need. And of course if that does not work Ask a question just as you have.

Clay Bar is the step done after washing and drying.

Stoners Invisible Glass Well i think you have already heard from everyone else It ROCKS! I have been using it for years.
