2 OTC Products to try out.

Figured i would try 2 new to me products.

1. Meguiars shine as you dry quik wax. Heard about this product, but never looked into it. Easy enough to find. #A1624. Big 24oz bottle was under $6. This will be reviewed after my griots wax as you dry is gone.

2. Been using BF TRIM & TIRE PROTECTANT on my tires. 100% satisfied with it. ZERO SLING. Wanted to try the LUCAS SLICK MIST TIRE & TRIM SHINE. Not talked about much, but when it is, seems like the users rave about it. Water based and provides a matt looking tire with no sling. Figured the only way to test is get a bottle. Mine has the NEW FORMULA on it. This will be used this weekend.

I have a bottle of the Megs wax as you dry, it`s good as a drying aid and since my cars are sealed i never expect much durability from it.
 
Interested to hear how the Lucas Tire and Trim Shine is. Good be a cheap OTC replacement for Blackfire Tire and Trim AIO
 
The megs was never heavily advertised, being new? Another otc i heard was good, is TW wax as you dry. I am also curious about the lucas. Will shall see.....

Not that i find anything wrong with griots WAUD. A good product i think.
 
I am an avid OTC user (Brick-and-mortar store buyer), so finding an OTC product that works well from reviews by fellow Autopians whom I respect is of great importance to me.
I am interested in Lucas Tire and Trim Shine to replace the now defunct Black Magic Matte Tire Shine that I loved because it was exactly that: natural matte finish. I (greatly) dislike tires that are shinier than a vehicle`s finish. I currently use Meg`s Endurance Tire Gel that is very shiny to begin with, but looses that "shine" about 3 days after its application. It`s another reason I use Aerospace 303 on tires because it starts out matte, but after the first good rain or wash, it "disappears". So currently I have a tire dressing with longevity, but with a somewhat unacceptable shine, or one with a matte finish, but with "limited" longevity. An OTC tire dressing product that is a inexpensive(IE Value priced), offers the best of both world`s (matte finish with longevity) is worth buying and trying.

I think I saw this new post/topic before in older listing under Product Reviews, but never clicked on it to open and read it.

PA, could you post a follow-up review on Lucas TTS (or LTTS for "another" acronym to add to the ever-growing list of products here on Autopia) on it`s longevity from your experience?
