Outside 24/7

This took me 2 days to complete just the outside.
Dunno what happend yesterday, but no matter what I was doing all I did was make swirls and marring. Agrivating !!!! I kept making it worse instead of better.

Well at least I got it straightened out.

I'll spare the befores.

Glad it's over.

The paint turned out great!

I have learned my lesson on black cars. My outdoor drivers are both Grand Prix's and one is "Light Bronzemist Metallic", the other is white.

Both look clean even if they're dirty!:cornut:

Nice work...

Dood, please elaborate on what you encountered. the finished product at customer delivery looked damn near perfect!

I am just a detail freak, not a pro. I do only my cars and my friends.. (this is one of mine)

Car is kept in good shape. I decided to strip it and start getting it ready for winter. I stripped it with the foam gun. There was a little swirling and marring from washing etc, but nothing bad.
From there I went to a chemical polish with white pad. Then i noticed more and more swirls. The neighbors landscaper was blowing his clippings around (which also included some leaf clippings) and it was being carried by the wind. (didin;t realize this till I went with a cutting polish and orange pad). It just kept getting worse and worse.

Once I realized what happend, I pulled into garage and started all over again. Then I kept having to pull it out into sun to see if I was making headway. Each time I puled it out, I needed to clear the crap off it again.

Wow Ron that sucked, I hate it when crap like that happens. I would imagine those landscapers blowin that crap everywhere was your culprit.

Nice save, she has that mirror finish again
