What would be the difference, if any, in using the 2 bucket method compared to washing say 3 panels with one bucket, then dumping it out and refilling it with clean water and soap?

As far as I'm concerned, the two bucket method is where you have one bucket of soapy water, and another with straight water for rinsing.



So in your case, you would just have two soapy-water buckets.



I would prefer one rinse and one wash bucket. Even better if the rinse bucket has a GritGuard to trap the dirt at the bottom. Then the water in the wash bucket stays clean, and the rinse bucket holds all the dirt.
