1st Zaino experinment

The Zaino ZFX is kind of different than Klasse. First mixing ZFX with Z2 pro is kind of fun but the challenge is squeezing the right amount of 4-5 drops ZFX to every oz of Z2. Don't expect droplet like from your eye drops. Zaino's drops are like mist. Anyone know better way to squeeze this $20 tiny bottle?

The best part is little wait time between multi-layers. Easy on and off by hand although I have no problem applying and removing KSG by pc.

I put 2 and half coats on my Porsche 986s with as little as 1 oz. ZFX dried instantly in my area. (S. California, dry weahther at the time). Hard to spot when applying Zaine on silver, specially using just 1 oz for more than 2 coats (thin is better and cost saving). Later I find out apply it in the garage at night with working light is easier to see the z on silver.

The looking in the garage without sunshine is unreal, the finishing result is very bright. Shine like a mirror, very wet finish. When I play with the camera with different setting, sometimes it look likes chrome.

The link of my car. The distance between the ceiling and the hood is about 6 feet high. The ceiling and all side walls are white color. What you looking at is silver color reflect on white surface. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/angel...=&.done=http://photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos

Let me know.

Your car looks awesome, thats a great job you did, and a beautiful car. I would consider, silver along with white as the two most difficult colours to get a really good look on, you managed it superbly!!! :xyxthumbs Great Job.

your car looks nice . the vehicle is a classic. so is the look. i am sure it would be even nicer if it were outside. it is fun to do something for the first time, is it not?

Whoa .. looks like a sweet ride!

I too, would love to see you post some pics into the click and brag forum, of your car parked outside in full sunshine.

now that is what i was talking about! but i also see what you mean about looking almost like chrome. gotta love them shiny cars.

thanks for the pic's

opass- I remember you were sorta  about which way to jump when it came to your LSP so I'm especially glad to hear (and see :D ) that the Z worked out so well for you.

Might want to try it on the Audi next time ;)

Accumulator and other autopias,

Thanks for the positive comment.

I was thinking to put Souveran as LSP, but some reading from old posts that indicate solvent from Souveran or wax might soften the Zaino finish. Therefore, kind of holding off this ideal until more research to confirm. (beside....I am not done with layering Zaino :D )

Bought Souveran and some Poorboys's stuff and didn't use them yet.

Oh man.....The KSG (E320) and Zaino (986S) are going to stay for long time, specially both cars parked in the garage most of the time.

The other project will be on red metallic Camry. Most likely will play with the softer stuff, like Souveran kit.

Oh man.....The fresh KSG x3 with P21s wax (E320) and Zaino (986S) are going to stay for long time, specially both cars parked in the garage most of the time.
