;) A lady called me last week about a full detail on her '99 Accord. It was trashed on the inside, oxidized on the outside.

She's a nice lady and asked me if I could do it for $150. No problem. (I've got a couple Vettes later in the week, so I was feelin' generous!!:D)

Washed with Eagle One Wet Car Wash.
Dryed with Absorber.
Cleaned bugs and tar with Tarminator.
Pressure washed wheel wells, wheels and tires.
Polished by PC with M105/M205 LC Orange.
Applied Z5P by PC with 3M Black Waffle Pad.
Initial wipedown after polishing - Z6.
Final wipedown with Z8.
Cleaned interior with APC.
Conditioned interior leather and vinyl with PBB&B
Vac'd carpets
Cleaned carpets, seats & floormats (filthy) with Woolite Heavy Traffic Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner.
Cleaned door jambs with bucket, carwash soap & sponge.
She declined on engine and trunk.

Great Job Bill!

How do you like the Eagle One Wash? Is it your wash of choice and if so, why?

Also, the carpets came out amazing, did you use a got water extractor along with your elbow grease?

I have to be honest. I don't like it. I'm trying to use it up. It seems to have pretty good suds, but it's not very slick. And the suds are gone about half-way through the wash... then add more and add more water. I figured, as trashed as this Honda was, the type of wash I used didn't matter.

Also, the carpets came out amazing, did you use a got water extractor along with your elbow grease?

No, I don't own an extractor or steamer. I've always used the elbow grease method and never seen carpet so bad that I couldn't make it look pretty decent.

The Woolite Heavy Traffic Carpet Cleaner is an EXCELLENT product. It foams, bubbles and, as the foam starts to work, you can see it getting dirty from the foaming action. That tells me it's "lifting" the dirt out of the carpet. Perhaps not literally, but whatever it's doing...... IT WORKS!

P.S........ One other comment on carpet. I had a carpet cleaning job one time, that was so bad, I had to take the seats out of the car!!!!! Food stains, coffee, milk, soda, grease, oil, gum, and a half-bottle of maple syrup!!! I saturated it with a Woolite/water mix, let soak for 30 minutes, then scrubbed with a carpet brush, flooded with water, soaked up with towel, repeated... repeated... repeated...

If I ever get one that bad again, I recommend new carpet!!!:D

Nice work - she had to love the results! Gotta ask, how'd you clean up the carnage?

Haha.... she was grinning from ear-to-ear! Loved it... "Better than when it was new", I believe she said. (Made me feel good that she liked the work.)

The pads, I spray (saturate) with APC, then hand wash in the kitchen sink in warm water and Dawn Power Dissolver. Sqeeze out the water (Sqeeze, not wring!), then air dry.

For the MF's, I just collect soiled ones until I have a washer load. Then I use warm water, 2 cups of APC, 2 scoops of OxyClean, 1 cup of Tide. Presoak them in the washer tub for about 30 minutes, then go through the wash cycle.

They come out remarkably clean considering the beating I give them!

Dry in the dryer with no dryer sheet.

Clean the washer "phantom black ring" with APC and a paper towel... (Wife is then happy.)

Wow!!!! Even more impressive knowing you don't have an extractor. Really amazing!
