My partner and I detailed another black bmw today. This time it was 1999 328i. The weather was perfect for polishing so most of the work was done outside. It was very cloudy and around 15 C. Bimmer has probably never been polished before and waxed maybe once. Knowing how hard bmw's clear coat is from the previous bmw detailing we prepared for this one. Everything was done in a hurry as the owner was waiting for the car to go to the wedding. I would have done one more pass with finishing pad and XMT 360 to get some more shine out of it but oh well...
The process:
-Wash
-Clay Bar (Mothers) only hood, roof, trunk and few other spots required clay bar
-Wash agian
-XMT#4 via PC/ yellow pad
-Menzerna IP/ yellow/orange pad
Some parts received XMT 360
-Wash again
-Opti Seal
-Pinnacle Souveran paste wax
P21S Wheel cleaner on wheels and sealed with XMT360
Here are some pictures
