1998 Honda Civic Hatchback (140k on the clock + bad paint job)

This is my 1998 Hatch that is daily driven and I purchased it for 3k. Mods include D2 Coil overs, added the Yakima Basket, HID Lights, and the front spoiler. I have plans to drop a B16 in it this year to make it a bit more lively. The car is a blast to drive and handles great, plus I don't see too many others on the road which I like. I recently polished it using my Rupes and Sonax Perfect Finish. I washed and waxed it today and though the paint is not perfect, I'm still pretty happy with the overall look. The last couple of pics are what it looks like in the summertime. Thanks for looking.

Oh man, look at you go. Coilovers and engines swaps! Never thought these were things you would attempt getting done on any of your cars. Paint looks pretty good despite the age, though. I'll get some pictures of my new whip up tomorrow assuming I get some sunshine here in PA(doubtful).

It's in beautiful shape! Don't see many of them like that period.

It's a shame most of the later model civics are made put together like. Frankenstein's

Beautiful detail! Almost all mods are tastefully done, wheels, fog lights, that drop!. BUT please, respectfully remove those HID lights if you don't have a proper retrofit. Other than that keep it up! -Jerry

LOL. I know, I know. It's a temporary fix for me being very blind at night. Not sure the direction I'm going to pursue with the car in the upcoming future. I've had some real wacky ideas on making this a detail rig.....fully loaded with a pressure washer unit with water supply. Not quite sure yet what to do. Thanks for the rest of the comments!

Love how subtle it is. Nice to see a clean hatch every once in a while. (Honda guy here)

looks great especially for factory paint. Did you wet sand it, also screw the B16 get you a good set Bisimoto level 2 cam and quality header and you will be suprised what the D series can do. Made 148 WHP on D15B with header and cam with these power adders. Again your ride looks awesome.
