1993 Mustang GT-Original Paint

Hey guys! This forum/site has taught me lots about detailing and the knowledge shows. This is my 1993 Mustang GT. All paint on the car is original and now over a decade old. The car changed owners three times before me with the last owner taking really good care of it, and the previous two not driving it much. Now I've got my hands on it and here are the results. These pics were taken after washing the car with Meguiar's Gold Class soap and using Meguiar's Clay Bar kit. This was in prep for wax, but I was anxious to take pics (not to mention losing light). What do you think?

Looks great! You might use a light polish before waxing and you'll be amazed.

Keep up the good work.

Looks very nice :D ! So if I understand correctly, you hadn't done the polish or wax yet? I'm really looking forward to the pics AFTER the final detail!!

I'd be pretty happy owning that car! :xyxthumbs

Nice! Bet that there are not too many 11 year old cars in the sunbelt with original paint as good as your's. I also like the "LX" taillights better than the usual funky GT tails.

I agree on the LX taillights. Those GT lights are also known as the "cheese graters." :) You can't tell but I have a cobra motor under the hood too. Guess I should post a pic of that huh? :)
