1991 300zx detailing.....

I am a new birdy to detailing.

My friend recently asked me to detail his 1991 300zx pearl white car...

However, I am afraid to damage the paint of his car with my PC7424 especially when it comes to an old car.



Do you think it would be impossible to burn that paint with my PC? What should i be aware of when i am dealing with these kind of car?

You won't burn the paint with your PC, so you're ok in that regard.



As far as anything specific to the 300ZX, try to avoid using products that are known to stain trim. The window trim on that car is sorta textured and stains very easily, and then it becomes very hard to clean.



Also there are a tone of body panel seams that present a challenge for wax residue.



However you mentioned it's a white car so wax residue won't be nearly as noticeable as on my black Z for example.
