1989 Turbo Porsche

Just a few AFTER pics of this beautiful Turbo I wetsanded and then polished out usingan orange pad with OHC followed by a green pad and OCP, blue pad OCP and Cyclo again with OCP. OCW seals the paint.

I did a full interior, extr and engine but for now only have these exterior shots as I finished the car late and the sun was down. The owner took these shots so I need to go back and do his other Porsche and will then take more pics.

Anthony- I'm sure my "nice job" goes without saying ;) What caught my eye was that you did a four-step correction (after the wetsanding), that seems a little unusual for you. Bet it turned out even better than I can tell from the pics after all that work.

Thanks to all for your comments and glad you enjoyed the pictures.

Accumulator - I have been doing more 4 and 5 step polishing details as I am striving for that flawless finish....even though it is and most likely will always be something I strive for :chuckle:

I will still post up some more AFTER shots as soon as I get over to his house to do his other Porsche as the interior turned out pretty nice also.

Here is a close up pic of one I already posted.

Here also are a few BEFORE pics and by viewing them you'll get an idea of how the whole Turbo looked.

Both sides had embedded wax and dirty.

This rear lower area was very grimy and dull. Pipes were chared with exhaust as was the paint around that area.

Lastly, this area had dried up wax and what looks like buffer splatter from a previous buffing job.

I'll post more pics as soon as I get them, thanks.

Anthony- I'd forgotten about all the little tight spots like around the washer nozzles/etc. and sheesh, I never would've thought the exhaust tips started out looking like *that*

When *you* lean towards five step jobs I don't feel quite as sheepish about how it takes me so many gradual steps to get the results I'm after :D
