1987 Porsche 911 (930) Turbo, Guards Red, 9,000 original miles. Beautiful specimen/fantastic car. Paint was swirled up, some deeper scratches. I did more of a restoration than a full on correction...it's only original once!

Was the single-stage red paint a candidate for Megs M07 Show Car Glaze?
Do you ever coat a single-stage paint?
Anything special done to the black trim?
Was the use of Pinnacle leather products your choice /preference for use on this particular vintage leather??

Hi Lonnie!

No, it wasn't in need of a glaze, the paint was not 'dry' or anything to warrant the use.

I have coated SS paint before. I can turn out 'blotchy' sometimes, only happened to me once. I prefer to wax or seal it.

Nothing but cleaning the trim was done.

I like Pinnacle, and I have it on hand so I used it, no other reason, lol!

Yes, I agree it is THE one!!
 
Beautiful & in the perfect color

There may be faster Porsches but for many (including myself) this is the quintessential Porsche Turbo!

Follow-up questions, Sizzle Chest:
1) When you say 'sealed trim", are you using the MK37 HiDef Sealant?
2) In a pic of the driver's side inside the garage, I can see the reflection of you sitting on the ground (NO, I cannot see what t-shirt you are wearing,?!) AND there is a number"11" on a decal what looks like on the side of vehicle. Have I not seen this number 11 and the car it belongs to in your garage before?? (Only Captain Obvious, right???)
3) Have you ever considered putting a 5" backing plate from a Flex 3401 that supposedly fits on your Harbor Freight Hercules DD polisher?

I think I also have asked about and/or told you how nice your custom garage door looks with the large shutter-look on the outside, but a conventional folding door on the inside as evidenced in the pics you post of the many vehicles outside in the driveway apron you have detailed. The doors just "fit and set off" your house/home so much, as do the vehicles so exquisitely done by yourself!!

You may have, I sometimes will store some clients cars. I don't usually post pics of them.
Yes, I have put a 5" plate on it as well as my 3401's, however I like the larger pads most of the time!
It is up there in value, for sure! WOAH! A blast from the past!!!!
